Over C&M Vastgoed

BE VERY CAREFUL!!!! before signing any papers specially the compromis even they always stress you to sign it as soon as you are interested on one of their properties for sale. As a new comer in Belgium and not knowing how everything works and also the language problem. Me and my wife, we didn't know how buying a house works here. We were so desperate to buy a house for our first child who is going to born in December as we do not have place for her where we live now. After choosing a house in booischot advertised by CM vastgoed, from the first day when they see that we were interested we were stressed to signed a compromis to buy a house within a week and pay 10% of the prepayment. We told them many times that my wife is almost 4 months pregnant and we are desperately looking for a house to move so we need this house as soon as possible. Before there was no problem at all but at the time of signing the compromis we were told that the x owner wants 2 months to move away .So they wrote that on compromis (HANDWRITTEN) that they can stay in the house for 2 months but they didn't explained us that the 2 months was after we sign the final papers in the notaris office and that might take upto 4 months. We thought that it was 2 months after the sign of compromise. So it took almost 4 months till we go to the notaris to sign the final papers of the house then the notaris explained us that we get out keys only after 2 MORE MONTHS according to the compromise we sign. !!!!!!FOR US IT WAS THE WORST NEWS EVER!!!!!!!!! So according to the compromise we signed the x owner can use the house for 2 more months and for FREE. And we have to pay the bank loan of the new house as well as rent of the old one. Worst part is ? we will get the keys of the house on the 9th months of my wife?s pregnancy so we will have no time to make the house /paint/decorate/move. We have to take care of a new house and a new baby at the same time . If we knew before that it will take that much time we would have never bought that house. We would have never sign that compromise . We would have bought another house where we could move sooner. But what?s done is done and we cannot redo it. I?m writing this to suggest someone who might be desperate like we were and suggest not to do the same mistake. And to CM vastgoed . MAY BE FOR YOU THIS IS JUST ONE ANOTHER HOUSE SOLD, ANOTHER COMMISSION MADE BUT FOR US ITS OUR FUTURE,OUR LIFE TIME INVESTMENT AND OUR DREAM HOUSE FOR OUR CHILDREN'S So please take care next time before playing with the sentiments of people because when we buy a house its not JUST A HOUSE, IT'S A DREAM
