Go to this agency only if you have no more options and properties are exactly what you want. Staffs are firendly when you LOOK FOR A PLACE, but once you start to have some issues with the house e.g needs to move out ealirer than expected, etc, you CANNOT rely on them to be supportive to resolve your problem. it seems like they exist to represent profit of landlord but not residents. I had to leave my place ealirer than I thought, when once I notice them, I couldn't find kinddess in the beginning. Especially the big manager, she will make you feel like nothing but have to listen whatever she says if you want to leave apartment, I almost felt sorry for other junior staffs working for her.

Terrible customer service. They reply very rudely to emails( example customer asks for info over e mail and their reply is " as we told you before you have to CALL US for any info on the apartment !". They refuse to give any info (monthly charges etc) through the e mail and insist that the customer has to call them to get the info. Much smoother and easier with other agencies as they communicate through e mail. Makes you wonder what immoschmidt has to hide. I definetly do not recommend. Cancelled their services.

Great team! Very professional, helpful and of good avise. They helped me rent an appartment in Etterbeek. Had a very good contact and good service.

Immobilière Schmidt helped me and my husband find an apartment three months ago. We were in a hurry as we came from the UK and luckily Immoschmidt found us the perfect place. They're very professional and patient (as we had a lot of specific requests). We would like to thank them for everything and won't hesitate to work with them again!

Very incompetent - beware! Unlike most agencies, they charge you money for even applying to the owner. Then they try their best to keep it - whether you get an apartment or not!! On paper, this is to discourage you (applicant) from saying no AFTER the owner has said OK to your application, and thus waste the agencies time/effort. However, they: - Make no promises for you. In return, the agency gives no guarantee that the owner will respond by a particular date. Now that you are in their net, why do they care? - Are perhaps dumb, or dumber. In our case, they contacted the owner and came back to us with an offer (move-in dates, contract duration) which clearly did NOT match with our application. Either they misrepresented our application to the owner, or they are dumb. - Lie outright. After that, they said they will keep our money, since we were saying no to their offer. - Hedge on forever. On pressing, they said we did not clearly state what we needed. This they had to take back because the proof existed in email, which they had confirmed by email. - Hedge even more. > Next step, they told us if we wanted our money, we needed to prove who we were (they had our identities on file at the time of application). > They said they'd transfer the money to our bank account, although it was our goddamn money, and we had paid readily in cash when they wanted it. > They invented a cash receipt that supposedly they had given us (a total lie) and which we needed to produce to get back the money. Finally, in the end, they gave us our money back, and we got an apartment from another agency. Now why on earth would you want to try your luck with them?
